Product Spotlight - Happytails

Looking for all-natural, home grooming or problem-solving products designed to make your pet's life a little more comfortable? The Happy Tails Spa line is based in Los Angeles and we just love their selection of shampoo/conditioner combinations, herbal elixirs, and gels and sprays for teeth and gum health. All of their products are pretty amazing, but here's a little more about some of my favorites…

The Sleepytime Tonic is GREAT for calming dogs with separation anxiety, issues with excessive barking, or those "special occasion" nerves -- like fireworks, thunderstorms, trips to the groomer, or car rides. The bottle comes with a convenient eye dropper, which you can put directly in your pet's mouth with the recommended dosage.  Give it about 30 minutes to take effect, and you should definitely see a difference.

The Dry Dog Instant Clean bath replacement spray is great to use in between baths, or after a trip to the dog park or the beach!  Simply spray it on your dog and go, or rub it in with a towel. You can use it to spot clean as well -- it's perfect for dirty paws and even works to freshen up your dog's bedding, along with your furniture, or your car!

I had no idea how awesome the bowWOW Butter Balm was until one of our groomers used some on my dog's dry paws after his haircut.  Combined with aloe, marshmallow, and tea tree oil, among other things, it absorbs into the skin extremely quickly and provides immediate relief.  It works very well on cracked noses and paws, and can also be used on hot spots, bug bites, or any other type of skin irritation

Happy Tails also has three great shampoos: one for deep cleaning, one for itchy skin, and one which can be used to brighten up a dull coat, and is also perfect for puppies. The Fur Butter is an excellent deep conditioner, and there are several products for ear and eye care as well...not to mention the packaging is super cute!
